One More Payment and its MINE!

Today is a monumentous day. Today I take my final in *dun dun dunnnn* Conflicts of Laws. Ok, so that isn't such a big deal. Lots of people take finals in Conflicts of Laws. What is important about today, for me, is the fact that the end of my school draws nearer. I still can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, but I now know that I am IN the tunnel. One more semester, and I get to be a real growed up working stiff. Some of you may tell me its not all its cracked up to be, but damn it, I want my turn to try. And so, here, in the seat where I will take this exam, I celebrate - just a little.
Then I realize what challenges lay ahead for next semester:
- I have one more semester as clinic director, and already I understand why my predecessor was so keen on handing the keys over.
- I am going to set on the selection comittee for the Universtiy of Here's next Dean of Students.
- I am going to have to pass 12 more credits of law school classes, including an independent study on Queer Law.
- It'll be my last semester with Spectrum
- I will help plan and execute another AIDS Walk. . .
and, I am going to have a nervous breakdown....
Shit.. back to that test.
